Associate Professor Dr. Ökkeş is a dedicated ophthalmologist with extensive experience in cataract, vitreoretinal, and refractive surgery. He earned his medical degree from Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine in 2007 and completed his specialist training in ophthalmology at the Beyoğlu Eye Training and Research Hospital in 2012. Since 2018, he has been serving as an Associate Professor at Esenyurt University, where he actively contributes to medical education, academic research, and the clinical training of future eye specialists. He is a member of both the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Turkish Ophthalmological Association, staying closely connected to international developments in his field. His surgical expertise covers a wide range of procedures, including premium cataract surgery, smart lens implantation, vitreoretinal operations, excimer laser treatments, eyelid and tear duct surgeries, as well as the diagnosis and treatment of retinal and corneal diseases.
